My grandfather died last year, a WWII vet of the NAVY. The book will have a total of 14 top aircraft from WWII from the P-51 D Mustang, P-40 Warhawk, B-25 Mitchell, B-17 to two of the US trainer aircraft. One model per aircraft. This book is being put together in the style of Vintage 1940's Holywood to WWII Nose Art/Pinup and a portion of the proceeds will be going to a WWII Charity.

What a tribute to the golden age era of flight and to the veterans who flew what we now call classic birds. I think some of the vets who once flew these would birds would really appreciate the work they put in to make this possible.

Most of the planes you list will be in the book plus more. This book will be all US aircraft.

hope they use more then one plane for the book (P-51D, P-47,P-40, B-25, F4U Corsair, MK IV Spitfire, im sure its easier to shot with smaller planes.. just me but i was never a big fan of some of navy planes (Hellcat, Wildcat, Bear cat) Helldiver and TBM Avenger would be cool to see tho.
